The Office of the Judiciary has announced a nationwide amnesty on outstanding traffic fines from 3 August to 30 September, allowing motorists to pay overdue traffic fines, including admission of guilt fines whose payment deadlines have already expired.
Under the amnesty, motorists may settle their outstanding fines at the district court where the notice to appear in court was issued or via Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT), using the summons number and the relevant court as the payment reference.
The Judiciary has urged those paying via EFT to submit proof of payment to the designated contact person at the relevant district court before 30 September.
